Durhamstown Castle is a 750-year-old Castle set among rolling fields and mature trees with a beautiful heart shaped croquet lawn to the front, where you can greet your guests and host large or small gatherings.
We host an eclectic mix of weddings, events and celebrations. Durhamstown offers a magical setting that allows you to make it your own, and our brilliant team will do everything to help you realise your dreams. 

THE FOOD

Our speciality is food, and we prioritise flavour and high-quality ingredients. All our food is cooked in-house; we even make our own bread, as our daughter Ruby runs an artisan bakery on-site.

Sue’s history of antique dealing and Dave’s as a furniture designer have honed a keen eye for creating interesting and beautiful spaces. Durhamstown encapsulates this.

Located on-site at Durhamstown Castle, is an award winning sourdough micro-bakery run by Sue and Dave’s daughter, Ruby. At Ruby’s Bakery, flavor and quality are the top priorities. Ruby takes great pride in using only the finest ingredients and putting exceptional care into her delicious baked goods.

Whether you’re craving her signature sourdough specialties or dreaming of a custom-made cake, she is here to delight your tastebuds. Ruby supplies all the bread and baked goods for weddings and events at Durhamstown Castle, enhancing the unique experience this venue offers.
