CASTLE HIRE

There are several possible combinations of the various buildings for hire at Durhamstown Castle. We will help and advise, depending on your requirements.

Exclusive use of the Castle, the Great Barn, the Ceremony Barn, 2 courtyard cottages and the grounds. Sleeps 25+

The Castle can be rented independently for smaller gatherings, sleeping 16 with self-catering or catering by Durhamstown Castle.

The Medieval Bolt Hole and the Coach house can be hired independently, sleeping 5 people in each cottage with self-catering.

The ceremony barn is included in your wedding package and is ideal for couples who want to get creative and put their stamp on it.

For corporate events, you can hire the Castle and Great barn for the day with catering and drinks provided by the Durhamstown Castle team.

RECEPTION ROOMS

On the ground floor of the Castle, you have five interconnecting rooms made up of the vaulted kitchen, the dining room, the front hall, the music room and the drawing room where you can relax with music without disturbing those wanting a family catch-up over a glass of wine. The well-equipped kitchen can allow Aunty Gladys to finally show off her culinary skills.

ACCOMMODATION

There are 7 bedrooms; 6 double beds and 5 single beds in the Castle plus cots. There is a double bed which can be set up in the Music room downstairs. There are five bathrooms two separate loos, plus a disabled toilet and shower on the ground floor.

The Bolthole and the Coach house each have a kitchen, bathroom and two double bedrooms plus a day bed in the living room.

In all we can accommodate up to 28 guests for your big occasion. Below are architectural drawings of the premises for your convenience.
