Our ethos is ‘mi casa es su casa’. For your Big Day – this is your home. The grounds and historic buildings create a perfect backdrop for spending the day happily decorating the ceremony barn and Great Barn with creative friends or Rock up in your Frock and we’ll have it all prepped.

It feels like a family home because it is a family home with the interiors curated over years by Sue & Dave’s individual style. 

The Barn, which can accommodate up to 120 guests has had many incarnations but this is its happiest. Weddings, christenings, Valentine’s balls and birthdays – we’ve catered them all, large and small. With its exposed wooden beams, brick arches and lovely joinery by Dave, it has universal appeal. The bar, the dance floor, kitchens and restrooms are all under the one roof – keeping your party together.

You’ve got lots of choices when it comes to your menu. For the four-course wedding package, you will lead in with a lovely soup & sourdough bread, followed by a choice of two starters for your guests, for example, a black pudding and goats cheese tart or Greek stuffed peppers.  The mains also offer a choice of two, with vegetarians, coeliacs, and vegans catered for separately.  One of the most popular being Beef Bourguignon – Dave’s special recipe – served with mouth-watering sides or the Chermoula Chicken, open baked Tunisian style.

For the more formal banquet, a trio of desserts made on site by Ruby’s Bakery and for the buffet, a country pudding such as fruity crumble or Sue’s Tarte Tatin with lashings of cream. 

Wine, Prosecco and Champagne all to be found on our small but excellent wine list. We have a simple rule around alcohol, if we do the catering we supply the alcohol.
